KARACHI: An explosion targeting a Rangers' vehicle in Karachi's Baldia Town Sector 4 injured four people on Wednesday morning, DawnNews reported.

The blast shattered the windows of nearby cars and also damaged a motorcycle and rickshaw parked in the vicinity.

Local police said that the explosives could have been planted on the damaged motorcycle.

On the other hand eyewitnesses told Dawn that since no one was seen at the blast site who could have hurled the explosives, it appeared that the bomb was planted in a garbage heap on the roadside which was detonated when the Rangers' vehicle passed near it.
