20 probables selected for camp

LAHORE, Sept 6: Twenty probables including 10 boys and as many girls each will attend a badminton training camp to be held at the Iqbal Park Sports Complex from Sept 14.

The players were picked after holding two-day trials at the Iqbal Park Sports Complex on Wednesday and Thursday.

After camp training teams will be finalised to take part in the inter-provincial badminton championship to be held at Muzafarabad from Oct 13 to 15.

Boys: Aqeel Nasir (Rahimyar Khan), Ali Raza (Hafizabad), Awais Sajid, Ahmed Ali (Bahawalnagar), Kashif Ali (Kasur), Asama Shamim, Qasim Ali, Aasim Ali (Jhang), Abdullah Hammad (Lahore), Danis Altaf (Faisalabad).

Girls: Saira Razzaq, Aqsa Razzaq (Faisalabad), Tayyaba Aslam (Jhang), Razia Bano, Faiza (Sheikhpura), Aneela Arshad, Sumaira Arshad (Rahimyar Khan), Asia Aslam (Khanewal), Shaheen and Saima (Sargodha).
