Six injured in clash

DADU, Dec 20: Six persons, including a woman, were injured in an armed clash between two groups of Jatoi tribesmen over a matrimonial dispute in village Gul Mohammad Jatoi of Mehar taluka.

The injured, Ms Maryam, Ali Gul Jatoi, Ghulam Hussain, Manzoor Ali, Ali Asghar and Hakim, were admitted to Mehar taluka hospital where two of them, Asghar and Hakim, were discharged after treatment while the condition of the remaining four, including the woman, was stated to be critical.

The Mehar police have registered an FIR against nine persons.

ARREST: The Khairpur Nathan Shah police arrested an alleged outlaw, Hanif, and seized one shotgun and 14 cartridges from his possession.
