LAHORE: As many as eight schools’ teams in 12-14 years age cohort on Thursday won the pool contests of the Dawn in Education Spelling Bee competition organised in collaboration with the US Embassy at the Ali Institute of Education.

The pool winners are: Convent of Jesus & Mary, Lahore; Garrison Academy for Girls, Lahore; Sialkot Grammar School, Bhopalwala, Sialkot; Garrison Boys High School and Intermediate College, Lahore; Resource Academia, Husain Chowk, Gulberg-III, Lahore; The Lahore Alma, Lahore; Salamat Girls Campus, Lahore; and Army Public School and College, Gujranwala.

Mr Tanwir Shah acted as pronouncer at the competition, while Qudsia Sajjad, Saiba Mian, Muneera Batool and Nimra Asif acted as adjudicators.
