TOBA TEK SINGH: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-laws’ house here on Wednesday night at Chak 350-GB.

Muhammad Ishtiaq of Sargodha told reporters on Thursday at DHQ Hospital that his 18-year-old niece, Taazeen Kausar, had married Azeem Jutt five months back.

Ishtiaq said he was telephoned by her in-laws that Taazeen had died of heart attack but he and other relatives found marks of hanging on her neck.

On his complaint, Rajana police have shifted the body to DHQ Hospital for autopsy.

On the other hand, in-laws of the deceased told police she had committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling after quarrelling with the family over some domestic issue.

Further investigation is under way.

DEATH AWARDED: Kamalia Additional District and Sessions Judge Suleman Baig handed down on Thursday death sentence to Muhammad Mansab and life imprisonment to Muhammad Ameen in a murder case of a college student.

The court has acquitted another suspect, Muhammad Imran, by giving him the benefit of the doubt.

All three were booked a year ago by Pirmahal police for killing college student Asad Abbas over a trifle at Chak 745-GB.
