Two injured in Hyderabad after PTI, PPP clashes

HYDERABAD: A Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) office in Latifabad was ransacked while aerial firing injured two Insaf Students Federation (ISF) activists, on Sunday night.

Reports said that unidentified persons ransacked a PTI office in G.O.R colony and beat ISF district president Umair Shaikh.

According to PTI Hyderabad district president Dr Mustansir Billa, the attackers belonged to the Pakistan People Party (PPP).

He said that party activists burned tyres on the road in protest, while another group of PPP activists arrived at the scene and resorted to firing.

He said two activists received injuries and have been shifted to Bhittai Hospital. He said that the police arrived at scene after a delay of one hour.

Meanwhile, around 80 to 100 PPP activists burned an effigy of PTI Chairman Imran Khan outside the local press club and raised slogans against him.

The PPP's protest followed an incident in London where PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was interrupted during his speech while he was addressing a Kashmir million march rally.

According to PPP Senator Saeed Ghani, who is in-charge PPP Sindh Media Cell, the PTI activists along with some Indians had first tried to restrain the PPP chairman from making a speech in the march.

He said the miscreants threw some objects and plastic bottles at Bilawal as well. He added that they used objectionable language and then kept interrupting the PPP chairman.

He said that it was highly condemnable as the PPP chairman was raising the Kashmir issue when PTI activists resorted to such tactics. He added that London police then escorted Bilawal safely from the venue.

Just saw the Chairman's address to the Kashmir rally in London. It was a rather cheap attempt to get political mileage on a topic that he doesn't even understand. Appropriate response from the protesters and the Chairman had to be rescued by the London Met.

It was stupid to give so much importance to this PPP chairman,Zardari Junior.They should have let him speak.Do you think that it will make any difference .This issue is just Political now.Both sides use it for election.And if Zardari junior thinks that he will gain popularity just by talking about Kashmir issue,then he is ignorant about history of subcontinent.Kashmir issue is very complicated now,but it is good to make fool common people,to get popularity.Very unfortunate that our politicians are still using it just to gain popularity.

Whether we agree with each other at home or not, we should at least pretend to be united for the cause of Kashmir which is critical for all of us. I have never been a supporter of PPP and I condemn the attacks. But I also strongly condemn the shameful acts of angry and arrogant PTI supporters which not only brought shame to the country but also did considerable loss to the million march. We should admit that Bilawal has the most candid and clear stance regarding Kashmir and against terrorism. PTI should stop its mischievous behavior.

Hahahahahaha Burnol for PPP. First of all there were no Indians in the Kashmir Rally and they have better things to do then to join rallies which do not make any significant impact regarding the Kashmir Dispute at all. Secondly even if there were Indian Agents trying to sabotage the speech of the so called great youth leader Bilawal, then it would had become a highly ugly face off between participants of the rally that are real Pakistanis and the Indian Agents, i.e if people really loved Bilawal they would have clashed with the so called "Indian Agents" right at the spot as soon as slogans were hurled against Bilawal. So this does show almost 90 percent of the rally did not like the idea of Bilawal making the rally a PPP jalsa so that's why no body stopped the hooligans from making more mess and sided with them by throwing eggs and tomatoes on the so called boy prince :P. And hating PPP does not mean you are a PTI supporter. PPP should learn that by now that after 5 years of pathetic governess even PPP jiyalas now spit on Zardari's name and hate the PPP, but guess what? They do not support PTI as well. So stop finding stupid lame excuses for your incompetence and for once accept the fact that people everywhere do not like you. Live with it . Had there been any, repeat any sincerity the issue may have been solved long...long ago. Understand ? Moreover please also try to understand that interrupting any one's speech is not so bad from any angle so why such an action needs to be condemned ? The thing which really needs to condemned and in fact the attackers to be punished is the attack and burning of PTI office etc. Sorry to note dear Noor that you did not find it necessary to condemn the acts of PPP activists. May one ask why ??

28 children have died in SIndh because of hunger and the 80 year old Chief Minister said in the Sindh parliament today that there is no issue and media is exagerating the problem. Also his "child chairman" is in London to show his solidarity with Kashmiris. Obviously, London is a lot more attractive place to be be then interior Sindh. Can people of Sindh not see that these people have no interest in the poor and illiterate people they represent.

@Zafar Yes zi agree, i was at the march and people were very angry that PPP had turned it into their rally by raising PPP slogans. One member of the stage even threw bottles back at the crowd which made the situation even worse. On the way back home nearly everyone in the coach agreed that if they had known the march was organised by PPP then they would never had ateendedthe rally.,,,,
