SIALKOT: A 13-year-old Christian girl was allegedly raped by a vagabond at a brick kiln in Bheer-Motra village in Daska tehsil on Friday.

Police said the victim, an orphan, was living in a brick kiln along with her uncle Aamir Masih. They said the suspect forcibly raped her and fled the scene when some labourers assembled there after listening to her hue and cry.

The Motra police have registered a case against the accused under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Daska DSP Engineer Rana Zahid Husain said the accused would be arrested soon.
