LAHORE: Balochistan and Pakistan Police softball teams reached the final of the 6th National Men’s Softball Championship 2014 here on Tuesday.

Balochistan beat Islamabad 15-7 in a thrilling contest at the University of Central Punjab ground with Ahmed Nasim scoring three runs and Qari Zafar and Aslam Khan scored two runs each for the winners. For Islamabad, Qamar Ahmed and Shahrukh scored two runs each.

In the other match, Pakistan Police outplayed KPK 12-4 to reach the final.

Abdur Rasheed scored three runs while Shehzad and Irfan both scored two each for Police.

In the third match of the day, Sindh crushed Islamabad 15-4. Jameel Javed and captain Faraz Ijaz scored three runs each for the winners. Sindh will play KP for third place in the event.
