KARACHI: Forward Mansoor Khan scored a brace as Pakistan Air Force (PAF) topped the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) standings with a 3-0 win over Baloch FC Quetta on Monday.

Pakistan international Mansoor, a part of the national side in last month’s Asian Games and the friendly against Palestine earlier this month, opened the scoring in the third minute at Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium before scoring his second two minutes before half-time.

His goals came either side of Mohammad Mujahid’s strike on the half-hour mark as PAF moved to 13 points from six matches, two points ahead of Karachi Port Trust (KPT).

The defeat left newly-promoted Baloch FC with two points after five games.

In Monday’s other match at the Railways Stadium in Lahore, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) were held to a goalless draw by Pakistan Railways.

The point took NBP’s tally to seven from six matches while Railways have two points from five games.
