LAHORE, Sept 4: A delegation of Democratic Group led by PML-N MNA Khwaja Saad Rafiq called on the Punjab law minister, home secretary, IGP and DPO here on Thursday to complain against the alleged police interference in the Ravi Town Nazim and Naib Nazim election.

The delegation comprising Pervez Malik, Ahad Malik, Ehsanullah Waqas, Chaudhry Shaukat, Samiullah Khan, Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor, Mehr Ishtiaq and Rana Tajammal Husain accused the SSP (investigation) and SHOs of Ravi Town police stations of pressurising the councillors to vote for the ruling PML-Q in the forthcoming election for the town Nazim and Naib Nazim.

They said the government should refrain from indulging in the town affairs.
