HYDERABAD, Sept 4: Small traders held demonstrations in different cities of Sindh on Thursday to protest against the universal income tax scheme.
The small traders of Hyderabad, on the appeal of the All Pakistan Organization of Small Traders and Cottage Industry, held a protest demonstration outside the Hyderabad Press Club.
SUKKUR: The small traders held a protest demonstration on Thursday against the universal income tax scheme.
The protest rally was taken out from the Ghausia Masjid Cloth Market. The protesters passed through Nishtar Road, Anaj Bazaar, Pan Mandi, Clock Tower Chowk, Shaheed Gunj and Frere Road. They finally stopped in front of the Sukkur Press Club.
SHIKARPUR: The small traders, while responding to the strike call by the All Pakistan Organization of Small Traders and Cottage Industry held a protest demonstration against the income tax policy.
NAWABSHAH: The small traders held a protest demonstration opposite the press club on Thursday against the universal income tax scheme.
The protesters were led by Haji Abdul Qayoom Qureshi, general secretary, Small Traders, Sindh, and the chairman, Anjuman-e-Tajran.
The traders were demanding withdrawal of the universal income tax scheme.
JACOBABAD: The traders held a protest demonstration against the universal income tax scheme and held a sit-in at the DCO Chowk on Thursday.
They were led by the president, Chamber of Commerce, Jacobabad, Ahmed Ali Brohi.
