Malir Cantt entry

THIS refers to the long and cumbersome process for entering Malir Cantonment, Karachi. Standing for hours in a long queue just to register to get in the cantonment area is time-consuming and problematic.

I agree that the people living in that area are valuable, but the process of submitting CNIC and filling forms take a long time. It takes three to four hours to get permission to enter the cantonment on occasions when generals are visiting the cantonment.

I request the authorities concerned to either stop giving lands to local civilians in that area, or develop a proper identification set-up that leads to a better security plan.
