KARACHI: Jobless man commits suicide

KARACHI, Sept 4: A young jobless man committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his home on Wednesday night in Korangi.

Police said that Jalad Khan, 19, ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan.

Victim’s body was shifted to JPMC.

ACCIDENT: A middle-aged man died in a road accident in Sukkhan on Thursday.

Police said that Ghulam Husain, 50, was knocked down by a speeding water tanker. He was taken to JPMC where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

ROBBED: Unknown armed men robbed a young man of Rs100,000 in Shershah on Thursday.

Police said that Haroon Rasheed was deprived of the amount at gunpoint by armed men who intercepted him in Shershah.

Haroon Rasheed is the brother of Abdul Khaliq Juma, town Nazim of Lyari.
