New Nepra chief appointed

ISLAMABAD, Sept 3: Abdur Rahim Khan on Wednesday took over as acting chairman of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra).

Abdur Rahim Khan, who is member of Nepra from NWFP has taken over the post, after Engineer Sardar Mohammad Sharif, member from Balochistan, completed his one-year term.

The post of Nepra chairman has been vacant for the last one year.

Mr Khan has 30 years professional experience, and is the only electrical engineer in the Nepra.
