QUETTA: An aircraft of the air force crashed because of a technical fault during a routine operational training mission near here on Wednesday.

According to a PAF spokesman, the pilot successfully ejected from the plane. “There is no loss of life and property on ground as the crash occurred in a barren area,” he said, adding that an inquiry board had been set up to determine the cause of the accident.

However, Pishin district officials said the aircraft crashed in Burj Abdul Aziz area near a firing range.
