KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) Greens won the inaugural Arya Premier League Cricket T20 title after defeating Feroz 1888 Mills Limited by a narrow margin of seven runs in the final played at the Public School Cricket Ground in North Karachi here the other day.

Batting first after winning the toss, SHC Greens collected 140-5 in the stipulated overs. Ali Naqi made 50 with the aid of three sixes and four boundaries. He received good support from Vinod Rajoo (40, three fours), Adnan Saghir (25, three fours) and Farhan Khan (24, four fours).

Slow left-armer Tahir Malik captured two wickets for 18 runs.

Feroz 1888 Mills Limited, in their reply, were all out for 133 in 19.1 overs with Wasim Ahmed scoring 40 that included three boundaries and a brace of sixes.

Adnan Saghir bagged four wickets for 20 runs, while fellow medium-pacer Sajid Pecheo took 2-28. Ali Naqi completed a good match by taking two for 25 with his off-spinners and leg-spinner Nasir Qureshi snared two for 28.
