KARACHI: Falconhouse Grammar School and Kamran Public School registered victories over their respective rivals in the Group C league matches of the HBL Inter-School Cricket Tournament 2014 here the other day.

Falconhouse defeated Azeem Academy by three wickets while Kamran Public School began their campaign with a fine 78-run victory over Aga Khan Higher Secondary School.

Leg-spinner Umairuddin Fakhri (4-39) sent Azeem Academy crashing to 157 all out in 33.1 overs with Ibrahim Khan (47) providing some resistance but Abdullah (37) and Zain Haider (29) helped Falconhouse reach the target with 11.4 overs to spare.

In the other match, half centuries from Ubaidullah Khan (79) and Tariq Bakht (56) allowed Kamran Public to post 231 for four in the allotted 40 overs before they bowled out Aga Khan for 153 in 32.3 overs.
