NAROWAL, Aug 31: Five unidentified dacoits on Saturday night looted the house of a bank manger and injured him on resistance at Pasrur.

Armed bandits entered Javaid’s house by scaling its boundary wall and held up the inmates hostage. The intruders collected Rs0.3 million in cash, ornaments worth Rs0.5 million and other valuables worth Rs0.3 million. The dacoits injured Javaid severely with daggers for holding them out. The dacoits stayed at the house for two hours and decamped with the booty after locking the inmates in a room.
