QUETTA: Represen­ta­tives of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in Balochistan have rejected criticism of sit-ins being held in Islamabad and said their struggle fell within the limits of the Constitution.

Sardar Ruallah Khilji, provincial leader of PTI, and Mir Zahoor Khoso, provincial vice president of PAT, speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, said they were struggling for change and believed it was the only way to bring improvement to people’s life.

They condemned the PML-N government for the Model Town tragedy and use of rubber bullets, tear-gas shelling and baton-charge on the participants of marches in Islamabad.

The two leaders mentioned the attack on the Supreme Court building by the supporters of the PML-N in the 90s.

They alleged that the government was exploiting the masses in the name of democracy but Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri had exposed the fake democracy being defended by the government.
