SHEIKHUPURA: Five passengers were injured on Friday when the gas cylinder exploded in a wagon on Sargodha Road.

The Khanqah Dogran-to-Sukheki wagon had the CNG cylinder explosion with a bang. Injured passengers were being treated in a local hospital.

BODIES: Three bodies were found in the district on Friday. The body of a woman, apparently in mid 20s, was found near the Upper Chenab canal on Lahore Road.

The Factory Area police said the woman was strangled.

Bullet-riddled bodies of two men were found on Farooqabad-Safdarabad Road in the jurisdiction of Farooqabad Sadar police. They were aged 30 to 35 years.

Farooqabad Saddar police are looking into the matter.
