SHIKARPUR: A teenage boy was gunned down by a group of armed men Near Shahi Bagh within the jurisdiction of Newfaujdari police station on Thursday night.
Asadullah Luhar, 16, was standing on the embankment of a saline water drain with his friends when three assailants opened fire on him and fled away on a motorcycle, according to witnesses.
The motive for the murder was said to be a running dispute between rival groups of the Luhar Baloch tribe.
The dispute has so far claimed lives four men on both sides.
Police shifted the body to the Shikarpur civil hospital and handed it over to the victim’s relatives after a post-mortem.
No FIR was registered nor any arrest was made till the filing of this report.
