HYDERABAD, July 23: Pakistan People’s Party leader Mohammad Usman Kennedy has alleged that the Market police have trespassed into his house and arrested seven party workers.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Wednesday, he said that on the instructions of the Market police station SHO, the police entered his house on Tuesday night without any search warrant and arrested seven party workers, who were holding a meeting to chalk out a programme for the visit of Sindh PPP president Nisar Ahmad Khuhro.

He said the arrest of the party workers was shown by the police from a park in Hirabad in a gambling case.

Answering a question, he said the arrested party workers were released on bail by the court on Wednesday. He demanded an investigation into the incident.
