WINDHOEK (Namibia): Pakistan thrashed Finland 3-0 to qualify for the World Junior Team Squash Championship semi-finals here on Wednesday.

In a one-sided quarter-final, Pakistan outclassed Finland 11-4, 11-9, 11-8.

Pakistan will play the semi-final against Malaysia, according to a press release issued here.

Earlier, Malaysia made the semis, pulling off a stunning 2-1 win over third seeds England.

It was the first time in eight years since Malaysia final four back in 2006.

In other results, top seeds Egypt defeated Ireland 2-0 while sixth seeds Spain shocked fourth seeds India 2-1 in their last-eight clashes.
