LAHORE: Lahore Lions won their opener against Canada’s Vancouver Lions in the World Kabaddi League (WKL) in London, according to the information released by the Sports Board Punjab here on Monday.
According to the details, the Lions completed a 74-61 win despite their late arrival in London.
Punjab Sports Minister Rana Mashood and SBP Director General Usman Anwar congratulated the Lions for earning the first win.
The matches of WKL featuring eight teams from five countries, namely England, Canada, US, India and Pakistan, will be staged in participant countries till December this year.
