Hyderabad mess

Published August 11, 2014

ALMOST everywhere in Hyderabad you go these days, you can find overflowing gutters with sewage spilling over on streets and roads. The problem arises as sewerage lines keep getting choked.

The violation of construction rules of buildings and bungalows is a common sight, making the environment look ugly and congested. Vested interests are allowed to carry on such malpractices, such as raising the ramps of new constructions to the extent of blocking more than half the street.
