He said Dr Qadri would give his call for revolution in a ‘few hours’ and parties agreeing to his 10-point agenda would join it.

Mr Rizvi said the MQM leadership would discuss the matter and take a decision on Dr Qadri’s invitation. He said every party had the right to hold protests. About the government invoking Article 245 he said its effects would be known later.

PML-Q leadership Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi also called on Dr Qadri and discussed the date of the ‘revolution march’. A PAT leader said Dr Qadri’s march call was likely to coincide with the PTI’s Azadi march.
