SIALKOT: Daska-based Abdul Rauf and his young son, Yasir, were killed in a road accident near Motra on Daska-Sialkot Road on Friday.

Both the father and the son were going on a motorcycle when a pick-up hit them.

Motra police registered a case against the driver.

Also, Azad Jammu and Kashmir-based Suhail, 20, was killed in a collision between motorcycles near Head Marala.

Police registered a case and sent the suspect behind the bars.

KILLS HUSBAND: The police arrested a woman and her alleged lover for killing her husband in Hajipura Ban.

Police said Najma Bibi allegedly poisoned to death her husband, Sajjad, with the help of Shahbaz in Hajipura Ban.

She told people that Sajjad had died of heart attack and buried him in a haste which prompted suspicion in her relatives.

Sajjad’s brother Shahid alerted police who arrested Najma, a mother of five, and her lover and sent them behind the bars.

In another incident, Tariq Mahmood allegedly killed his wife, Asmat Bibi, over a domestic dispute in Khaney Chak and fled.

Police registered a case and shifted the body to Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
