ABBOTABAD, July 18: Small dams at Harno and Rajoya will provide multiple benefits to the Hazara division, assisting the local tourism industry while the added water storage capacity will help the agricultural sector.
This was said by NWFP Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah while inaugurating the Mera Rehmat Khan Road on Thursday.
Focussing on the importance of the local bodies system, the governor said that its basic theme was to enable greater public participation in local affairs.
The governor appreciated a proposal to install chair-lift between Abbottabad and Thandiyani.
