KARACHI: Gulshan Hawks thum­ped host Arambagh Club 47-28 to emerge group B champions in the Ramazan Cup basketball tournament at the latter’s court on Saturday night.

However, both the teams have propelled into the semi-finals.

With two wins already under their belt, Gulshan Hawks rounded of their group matches on a winning note by displaying brilliant performance.

Their victory revolves around Saifullah Nausherwani, who mustered 21 points. Saad and Sherry scored six and four respectively for winners.

Zainul Abedin and Adnan Ali contributed seven and four respectively for losers. Earlier, Nishtar Club got a walkover against Karsaz Club after the latter failed to turn up for their group A match which was of academic interest.
