KARACHI: An explosion in Metroville area of Karachi's Site area wounded three persons early on Sunday, according to a DawnNews report.

The nature and intensity of the explosion could not be confirmed till the filing of this report.

Rescue and security teams reached the blast site.

The victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment while security personnel ccordoned off the area a as probe into the incident went underway.

Some bystanders reported that the destroyed debris of the motorcycle suggested that explosives were planted on the two-wheeler while others sources said that the blast was caused by a hand-grenade.
