Sad realization by the jamaat that it is not needed by PTI or the army. Even the 'Dharna duty' has been appointed to TUQ instead of Jamaat. How the mighty have fallen.

I respect JI but thier hisitory is full on blunders and their this decision (if final) has no exception.

Good decision by JI, under Siraj ul Haq leadership I guess JI will again become a national party. SUH will be another Qazi Hussain Ahmed. Good decision not to join naunahalan e inqulab for destabilizing country.....

Without JI, no anti-government movement has ever been successful. What IK is not realizing is that, in democracy, it does not matter how big or small a coalition partner is, the need of consultation is very important. I have yet to see discipline in his decisions and in his party.

The decision of the Present leadership of JI is appreciable not to take part into PTI and TUQ led politically motivated protest or agitation against the elected Govt at such a crucial juncture when Govt and the Armed Forces are at war with Terrorists who are not only the worst enemies of Pakistan but also of peace and humanity, at large. If the founder of the JI Maulana Maudoodi been alive today he would never take part into such protests and agitation to sabotage the strength and focus of the Armed Forces and Govt from their war against TTP and other groups of deadly terrorists who have kept the nation bleeding since long time. Though I did not agree with some policies of Maulana Maudoodi but I remember that the influential Socialists and Communists lobbies then controlling most of the medias supported by a strong group from top bureaucracy and also most of the extremist Mullas used to brand Maulana Maudoodi as an agent of USA and the West, till his death. Unfortunately after his demise the JI leadership gradually embraced extremist policies which was neither in the interest of JI nor of the Nation hence they started losing the support and vote banks of their sane and educated voters, as such declining their representation into elected assemblies to formidable extent.

Jamaat is doing, what it always does. Keeping its seats warm as long as they can. In the name of Democracy they will ally themselves with corrupt and dishonest leaders like Nawaz Sharif. Go Musharraf.

This new Amir of JI ...Jamat has serious leadership crises.

Very good decision by JI. JI ministers are performing very well in KPK. PTI should also focus on performance and resolution of problems of the poor. Lets all the governments complete their term and let the people decide next government with their votes.

JI is becoming irrelevant in the political things to come, thanks to the controversial statements by the last leader. Imran Khan will have have to part ways with them else he will lose urban votes.
