Removal of Karak DCO demanded

KARAK, Oct 3: The Tehsil Council, Karak, has demanded immediate removal of the DCO, Aftab Akbar Subhani, for showing no interest in the working of the local government system.

The demand was made at a meeting presided over by Karak tehsil council convener Malik Abdul Qadir at the Town Hall.

The meeting was attended by Naib Nazims of nine union councils of the Tehsil, Nazim Karak Malik Qudrat Gul, Tehsil Municipal Administrator Mansoor Khan and Tehsil Officer (regulation) Malik Abdul Ghaffar.

Speaking on the occasion, Naib Nazim union council Kando Khel and a woman tehsil Councillor Bibi Aaisha demanded eradication of social evils.

The members in their speeches said that patwaris were receiving heavy bribes for preparing transfer/ booking documents.

Nazim Karak Malik Qudrat Gul said that due representation would be given to all the areas while launching development schemes in the district.

The meeting also adopted four resolutions including allotment of offices to elected representatives, shifting of new bus stand outside the city, provision of drinking water to Rahmatabad and issuance of special identity cards for LB representatives.
