After remaining closed for nearly 13 years, Pak Tea House reopened in March 2013, in it’s same location in the old part of Lahore. The café was traditionally frequented by country's notably artistic, cultural and literary personalities. Now, under the Walled City Department, Pak Tea House aims to maintain the same essence as before, welcoming students, poets and writers to come and hold their discussions at the café.

If Earnest Hemingway, George Orwell and F. Scott Fitzgerald visited Pak Tea House during its hey day, they would be in good company. : )
It's a great testament to all the brilliant and creative writers who patronized this legendary cafe, that is has risen like a phoenix from the past once again!
