ISLAMABAD, July 8: Leading departmental and regional teams will participa te in the All Pakistan floodlit football tournament starting at Bahawalpur from July 15.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, MNA, while addressing a press conference on Tuesday alongwith officials of Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd. (PTCL) sports directorate.

PTCL is sponsoring the tournament in which the leading teams of the country will participate—amongst them PIA, NBP, KPT, Pakistan Customs, Ordnance Depot, Quetta and regional sides like Bahawalpur, Multan and Lahore.

“The Organising Committee is leaving no stone unturned in making befitting arrangements for the tournament and we foresee big crowds turning up to watch the matches”, said the chief organiser.—APP
