LAKKI MARWAT: Two people were killed in separate firing incidents here on Thursday. Lakki police station officials said that the first incident occurred in Begukhel where Nasrullah and Rasool Khan allegedly killed their stepbrother Niamatullah. They claimed that the deceased had a feud with his stepbrothers.

In the second incident, a young man Kalimullah was shot dead over a petty dispute in Mughal Manjiwala village. Police have registered the case against the alleged attacker Sadullah. Police are yet to arrest the attackers in both the cases.

Meanwhile, a fire exchange took place between police and some outlaws in Kurrum Par area.

A police official said that a heavy contingent of police headed by DPO Ismail Kharak tried to encircle hideouts of alleged criminals, who opened fire on the police party and escaped at around midnight. The police retaliated fire, but failed to arrest any of the outlaws.
