FAISALABAD: A female student of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, will speak on women issues in Pakistan at the coming session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to a handout issued by the university, Rabia Faridi, of MSc Hons (Plant Breeding and Genetics), has been selected to deliver the speech.

A couple of weeks ago, Ms Faridi had presented her speech on women education at the Convention Centre, Islamabad, where UN special envoy for global education and former UK prime minister Gordon Brown was the chief guest.
