JACOBABAD, July 7: Six dacoits were arrested in the Gharhi Tegho village in the jurisdiction of the Ghauspur police station on Sunday.

On hearing about the dacoits, the TPO, Kandhkot, along with a heavy contingent of police rushed to the Ghari Tegho village.

An encounter took place between the police and dacoits. After an hour six dacoits identified as Maula Bux Teghani, Soomar Sabzoi, Zahid Panhyar, Billawal Sabzoi, Mukhtiar Tegwani and Rahimdil Tazwani were arrested. All are Cholanis by caste.

Police recovered two Kalashnikovs, two TT pistols, three guns, and a rifle from their possession. Five motorcycles were also seized.
