NAWABSHAW: Activists of the Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) here on Saturday took out a rally and held a demonstration in protest against non-arrest of the accused involved in an attack on their workers.

Carrying placards and chanting slogans, they staged the rally from the G.M. Syed chowk to Sanghar Road.

Addressing the protesters, JSQM vice chairman Dr Niaz Kalani, Sarfaraz Memon and Ali Raza Khaskehli said people were afraid after witnessing the million march of Sindhi people in Karachi on March 23 and because of this they were attacking and torturing their workers.

But, the JSQM leaders warned, they knew the way to defend their people. They said they were followers of G.M. Syed and would defend their homeland.

They threatened to widen the scope of the protest if the accused involved in the attack were not arrested within a week.
