RAWALPINDI, July 6: Members of the council have accused the Tehsil Nazim of showing discrimination in the distribution of development funds and other Tehsil affairs.

About a dozen Naib Nazims held a press conference on Sunday at the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Press Club.

They included Chaudhry Ijaz Anwar, Jehangir Butt, Chaudhry Khalil Ahmad, Chaudhry Mushtaq Anwar, Agha Taimur and Assad.

All favours are showered on a selected group of Naib Nazims while the others are discriminated against and even harassed, they alleged.

“The only reason he is showing discrimination towards us is because we opposed his cousins in the general elections,” they alleged.
