ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) willo launch its FM radio channel to highlight local issues and get feedback of the citizens.

The decision was taken in a meeting held on Tuesday, chaired by CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal.

It was noted that the civic body needs to interact with the residents of Islamabad to improve its service.

The meeting was told that efforts are being made to make the radio station functional at the earliest. Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has already issued the licence to the CDA.

The channel will operate on 95.4 frequency.
