KARACHI: Senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar said on Wednesday that the government must fulfill its responsibility of recovering missing workers of the party, DawnNews reported.

Addressing the media during a press conference held at the party's Nine-Zero headquarters, Sattar said the writ of the state and government was not visible in Karachi.

The senior MQM leader mentioned the recovery of MQM workers' bodies in Nooriabad and Hyderabad and said that the law was ripped to shreds in cities and urged the government to fulfill responsibility of recovering missing MQM activists.

He added that the family members of the missing workers were undergoing anguish and facing them to answer their concerns was becoming a tough task.
