LANDI KOTAL, July 2: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has sanctioned additional staff and software for the swift centre at Jamrud in Khyber Agency.

In addition to an assistant project manager, a system engineer and six data entry operators (DEOs), the centre will be provided with two men and two women DEOs.

The centre presently has the facility of processing two forms at a time, but now four forms could be processed at a time with the help of the new software.

Assistant Project Manager Bakhtiar Khan told Dawn that they were receiving around 100 forms daily and their old system was unable to take that much load.

Mr Bakhtiar said that over 200,000 computerized cards had so far been issued in Khyber Agency.

The Fata Registration Office (FRO) at Jamrud was recently converted into a swift centre.
