HYDERABAD, July 2: The sixth additional district judge on Tuesday awarded the life imprisonment and a fine of Rs50,000 to Kashif for killing Asif Qazi in Noorani Basti on Aug 13, 2001.

In case of non-payment of fine he would serve another six months in the jail. He was convicted two more years for causing injuries to Asif Qazi in the same case.

The convict would pay an amount of Rs20,000 to the family of victim in compensation.

He was fined Rs20,000 for injuring the man and in case of default he would serve six more months in the jail.
