MARDAN: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah on Friday directed installation of solar system on the premises of the Fazl-i-Haq College, Mardan. He also directed to install a separate electricity feeder for the college to end loadshedding and low voltage problem.

Addressing a ceremony at the college, the governor said that provision of quality education to young generation was the prime duty of the government.

Mr Shaukatullah lauded the college for imparting quality education to students belonging to different areas of Pakistan for which it had been included in the lists of best educational institutions of the country.

He said the government had been taking all possible steps to improve learning environment in both the public and private educational institutions.On the occasion, the governor also announced to provide laptops to top three students of 8th to 12th grades.

Mr Shaukatullah said that he would talk with the chief minister for provision of ambulance to the college. He also announced to provide Rs0.5 million to be spent on the tours of college teachers and students.

He said that scholarships for Fata students in the college would also be enhanced.
