SUKKUR: A lot of money is available nationally and globally for research and development, but people need to make concerted efforts to utilise those opportunities.

This was stated at a panel discussion on “Opportunities to Commercialise Research” conducted by researchers reflecting importance of research and its commercialisation for a country like Pakistan.

The discussion was part of the concluding day (Thursday) activities of the two-day 4th International Conference on Business Management (ICoBM) organised by Sukkur Institute of Business Administration in collaboration with University of Management and Technology (UMT) Lahore and Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur (SALU).

On the second day of the conference, a sequence of discussions on different papers presented by scholars and researchers from different universities and Sukkur IBA itself was continued throughout the day.

Researchers presented papers on Climate Change and Environmental Policy, Mathematics and Computational Finance, E-General Management, Social Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Organizational Behaviour and on topics related to the field of business management.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Sukkur IBA and SBKWU, Quetta, was signed while another MoU was signed between Sukkur IBA and NEWG (National Entrepreneurial Working Group).
