THATTA, June 28: Opposition leader in Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has said that democracy tailored by Gen Pervez Musharraf is depriving the masses of their basic rights.

The institutions were being weakened, rights of provinces usurped, and intentionally an atmosphere of hatred and division amongst the two provinces has been created on the issue of water, the rulers were pursuing their personal agenda of a divide and rule.

Dr Karim Khwaja provincial head of the People’s Doctors Form said Pakistan was passing through its most crucial political period and the time was appropriate to wage a war against the dictators and evolve an atmosphere of unconditional unity among the rank and file of the party to streamline the true democracy in the country under the leadership of Benazir Bhutto.
