QUETTA: Twelve people died and 33 others were injured in three road accidents in parts of Balochistan on Sunday, police sources said.

A coach going from Quetta to Nawabshah fell into a ditch after hitting a tractor trolley. The accident which occurred near Sibi left seven people dead and 15 injured.

Police said the cause of the accident was over-speeding. The injured were taken to the district hospital in Sibi.

On the Quetta-Chaman highway in Kuchlak area, four people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between two cars. Police said bodies and the injured were taken out after cutting car roofs.

The injured were brought to the civil hospital in Quetta.

A Sibi-bound wagon rammed into a truck near Bibi Nani area of Machh tehsil in Bolan district, killing a man and injuring 15 people.
