Two women die of heatstroke

SUKKUR, June 24: Two elderly women, Gul Bibi, 60, of village Chak, Thull taluka and Saran, 70, of the RD-44, Jacobabad district, died due to heatstroke on Monday.

They were shifted to the Thull Hospital in serious condition but pronounced dead before any first aid.

The district was experiencing very hot weather and mercury was touching 50 degree Celsius.

KILLED: Two tribesmen were shot dead by their five rivals in Garhi Khairo, Jacobabad district, the other day.

The deceased Maloo Khan Buledi and Rustum Khan Buledi were shot dead over a land dispute.
