Shahid, Aijaz crash out

KARACHI, Dec 14: Pakistan’s campaign in the Malaysian Open squash championship ended when Pakistan number two Shahid Zaman and Aijaz Azmat bowed out in quarterfinals.

Shahid lost his quarterfinal to number two seed Olli Tuominen of Finland. Tuominen won 15-11, 15-13, 15-14.

Tuominen will take on Australian Anthony Ricketts in the semifinal. Ricketts scored a 15-10, 17-15, 15-6 win over Ajaz Azmat. —SADA
