KHAIRPUR: Thari Mirwah police recovered a woman, Sonia Rajpar, allegedly kidnapped by five suspects in Pir Wassan village of Khairpur district on Monday.

SHO Ayaz Memon produced the woman before to the media and claimed that she was recovered in a raid carried out in a raid on a house on Tuesday evening.

According to sources, Ms Rajpar was produced in a Thari Mirwah court on Wednesday and then sent to the Dar-ul-Amman. They said the police were ordered to produce her in court on the next hearing of the case.

Two brothers, Saeed and Imran, belonging to the Rajpar clan, were killed on Sunday in what was reported to be an armed attack by a group of people. Relatives of the deceased claimed that the woman had not been kidnapped rather she got married of her own freewill.
